Reviewing process

Editorial Academic review

i. All submitted manuscripts undergo editorial review immediately upon submission.
ii. Editorial review ensures that all manuscripts are written according to VJIP Academic Criteria; the content fits within VJIP’s scope, and the protocols / methods are filmable.
iii. Manuscripts that do not meet VJIP’s guidelines will require revisions or may be rejected upon Editorial Boards decision.
iv. Upon completion of editorial review, your manuscript has passed academic assessment and will be submitted for format assessment / resubmitted for correction.
v. Associate Editorial Members will review the format of the manuscript. All submission should be written according to VJIP Standard Manuscript Template.
vi. Manuscripts that do not meet VJIP’s standard format will require revisions or may be rejected upon Associate Editorial Members’ decision.
vii. Upon completion of editorial review, your manuscript has passed format assessment and will be submitted for video assessment.
viii. At this point, main author will receive a notice of academic acceptance.

Video review

i. Associate Editorial Members will review the format of the video. All submission should be recorded according to VJIP Standard Video Format.
ii. Video that do not meet VJIP’s standard format will require revisions or may be rejected upon Associate Editorial Members’ decision.
iii. Upon completion of video review, your manuscript is ready for publication.
iv. At this point, main author will receive a notice of full acceptance and notice of publication.
